State Bank of India (SBI) is an Indian multinational, public sector banking and financial services company.  It is a government-owned corporation with its headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra. SBI Clerk 2019

Getting recruited in SBI is a matter of pride.  Working in India’s biggest bank is itself a big achievement.  Recently, SBI announced that it will organize a recruitment drive in 2019 for the post of Clerks.  Recruitment will be done on the basis of examination, i.e. SBI Clerk 2019 conducted by the State Bank of India.  For that, the official notification will probably be released in April 2019. Also, check the details of SBI Education Loan.

SBI Clerk 2019 Application Form  

SBI will release the application forms online.  Candidates can apply online on the official website www.onlinesbi.com OR www.sbi.co.in.  Following are the details candidates have to fill in the online application form:  

  • Name;
  • Father Name;
  • Mother Name;
  • Date of Birth;
  • Category;
  • Address (Permanent and Correspondence);
  • Aadhar Details;
  • E-Mail Address;
  • Mobile Number;
  • Educational Qualifications etc.

Candidates also have to provide the educational qualifications details.  Candidates are required to upload the latest passport size photograph and signature in the required format on the application form.  

Application Fee  

The details of application fee are as follows:  

  • The Application fee will be submitted through online mode only.  
  • Candidates can pay application fee through Debit Card/Credit Card or Net Banking.  
  • General/OBC category candidates have to pay Rs. 600 for the application form.  
  • For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category, the application fee is Rs.  100.   

SBI Clerk 2019 Eligibility Criteria  

Eligibility criteria are as follows:  

Age:  

  • The maximum and minimum age limit are 20 and 28 respectively.  
  • Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per the government’s reservation policy.  

Educational Qualification

  • For Junior Associates, candidates must be Graduate in any stream from a recognized university or equivalent
  • For Junior Agriculture Associates, candidates must have Bachelor Degree in agriculture or agriculture allied activities from a recognized university.
  • Candidates who are in final year of their graduation can also apply.

SBI Clerk E-Admit Card 2019  

E-Admit Cards for SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview Round will be released in May 2019, June 2019 and in August 2019 respectively.  

E-Admit Card for Preliminary and Main Exam

Candidates have to produce admit card at the examination centre.  The admit card will be marked with the following details:  

  • Candidate’s Name   
  • Examination Date
  • Name and Address of  Examination Centre
  • Photograph and Signature of the Candidate
  • Reporting Time.  

E-Admit Card for the interview of SBI Clerk 2019 will be marked with the following details:  

  • Interviewee Name   
  • Venue of Interview
  • Details of authority which will conduct the interview.
  • Photograph and Signature of the Candidate
  • Reporting Time.  

Steps to Download Admit Card

  • Go onto www.onlinesbi.com OR www.sbi.co.in.  
  • Search for E-Admit Card option on the Home Page.  
  • Click on that to open.
  • Put your Name and Date of Birth or Registration Number there.  
  • Now, the e-admit card will appear on the Page.  
  • Candidates must ensure that the information provided on the E-Admit Cards pertains to them.  
  • Download it and also get the printed copy of it.  

SBI Clerk Examination & Selection Procedure 2019  

Candidates should take care of the schedule of the examination.  Some of the things should keep in mind on the day of examinations are as follows:  

  • Candidates must reach examination centre about half an hour before the commencement of the examination.  
  • There is a strict prohibition of electronic gadgets including mobile phone inside the examination hall.  
  • No candidates will be allowed to exit the examination hall before halftime is passed. 
  • Candidates have to produce the admit card along with the original Photo ID proof at the examination centre.  

SBI Clerk 2019 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for both the written exams are as follows:

Preliminary Exam:  

  • Type of Questions:  Question Paper will comprise objective type questions.  
  • Number of Questions:  There will be total 100 questions.  
  • Sections: Question paper will be divided into three sections of questions pertaining to English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.  
  • Time Duration: The time duration for Preliminary examination is 1 hour.  
  • Negative Marking: For every wrong answer ¼ marks will be deducted.  
  • The question paper will be available in Hindi as well as the English language.

 Main Exam:

  • Mode of Exam:  The examination will be conducted in online mode only.
  • Type of Questions:  Question Paper will comprise objective type questions.  
  • Number of Questions:  There will be total 190 questions.  
  • Total Marks: Total marks will be 200.
  • Sections: Question paper will comprise many sections of questions pertaining to General English, General /Financial Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude.
  • Time Duration: The time duration for Preliminary examination is 2 hour 40 minutes.  
  • Negative Marking: For every wrong answer ¼ marks will be deducted.  
  • The question paper will be available in Hindi as well as the English language.

Interview:

Candidates who successfully clear the Preliminary and Main Examinations are called for the interview.  The dates of interview will be announced after the announcement of the list of selected candidates for interview round.  Those who clear the interview round will be offered the post of Junior Associate and Junior Agricultural Associate.  

SBI Clerk Result 2019  

The result of both the examination and Interview will be uploaded on the official website.  Candidates must keep the printed copy of the preliminary exam and main exam result as well as Interview call letter.  The final result will be announced after the interview round.  

How to Apply for SBI Clerk 2019  

To apply for the SBI Clerk 2019 candidates have to first register on the official website, www.onlinesbi.com OR www.sbi.co.in.  Candidates have to make the User-ID to Log In for the online examination for.  

Registration (User-ID)

Candidates can register themselves for the following steps:  

  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on the New Registration option and provide the required details.  
  • Candidates have to provide the valid e-mail address or phone number and set a password for the registration.  
  • Candidates will be sent the confirmation e-mail or SMS.  
  • After responding the confirmation e-mail/SMS candidate will get the User-ID.  

Instructions for filling the Online Application Form

Candidates should follow the steps prescribed below for successful submission of Online Application Form.    

  • Visit the official website, www.onlinesbi.com OR www.sbi.co.in.  
  • Click on Apply Online it will ask to Log-In.  
  • Candidates are required to input the User-ID details to Log In.  
  • After login, Online Application Form will appear on the screen.
  • Candidates have to fill all the details like DOB, Name, and Father Name etc. as stated in the 10th class Mark Sheet.  
  • After filling all the details, candidates have to upload the photographs & signatures in the required format.  
  • Candidates also have to upload the scanned copies of all the original documents.  
  • Now, click on the Submit Option to submit the Application Form.   
  • Before submitting the application form candidates must ensure that all the details filled are correct.  
  • Incorrect forms will be rejected immediately.  
  • Now, candidates have to proceed with the payment of application fee.   
  • Candidates can pay the fee through Credit Card/Admit Card or Net Banking.  
  • Application fee once paid won’t be refunded.    
  • Candidates must keep the printed copy of the filled online form for further proof.
